Green Building Council South Africa (GBCSA)

The Green Building Council SA is a level 2 BEE rated, independent, non-profit company that was formed in 2007 to lead the greening of South Africa’s commercial property sector. We provide the tools, training, knowledge and networks to promote green building practices across the country and build a national movement that will change the way the world is built.

We are one of over 95 members of the World Green Building Council alongside Australithe United States and the United Kingdom. Green Building Council SA has developed the Green Star SA rating system and is the official certification body for Green Star SA projects. We are a dedicated team of industry experts working in collaboration with industry bodies, leaders, government departments and professionals to develop market-based green solutions for the South African property industry.

Southern African Legal Information Institute (SAFLII)

The SA Legal Information Institute publishes legal information for free public access which comprises mainly of case law from South Africa.

SAFLII also hosts legal materials from other countries in the region which are obtained through partnerships, collaborative efforts and more recently through linking to other Legal Information Institutes established in these regions.

All information is offered on a free and open basis subject to our terms of use and is continuously updated.

Southern African Association of Geomorphologists (SAAG)

 SAAG is the representative body of Southern African geomorphologists and is affiliated with the International Association of Geomorphologists (IAG/AIG). SAAG is also accredited as a Voluntary Association (VA) of the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP). Master Builders Association North (MBA North)

The Pretoria Master Builders Association was founded in 1903 and the Johannesburg Master Builders Association was founded in 1894 and was formally constituted in 1904. These organisations merged in January 1996 to form the Gauteng Master Builders Association (GMBA). In 2012, the association underwent a name change and is now known as the Master Builders Association North – incorporating the following 4 regions: Gauteng, North West, Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
