Exotic Leather South Africa is a non-profit organisation that represents the various clusters of the domestic exotic leather industry. Exotic Leather South Africa is responsible for ensuring that the South African exotic leather industry is positioned as a research-based, sustainable and ethical source of exotic leather products according to local and international standards. Exotic Leather South Africa provides the exotic leather industry with a support structure while promoting the interests of producers and processors of exotic leather.

The organisation works in partnership with industry bodies such as the South Africa Crocodile Industry Association (SACIA) and the South African Ostrich Business Chamber (SAOBC) who represent the crocodile and ostrich industry respectively, to develop industry standards and benchmarks that can improve the development and long-term sustainability of the exotic leather industry.

The Fossil Fuel Foundation (FFF) is a non-profit Trust made up of individuals from industry, government and non government organisations, academia and technology – all of whom have an interest in coal and energy. Multidisciplinary topics are covered including those in the coal producer and user sectors, clean coal technologies, alternative energies, conventional and unconventional gas, coalbed methane, health and safety, climate change and the environment. FFF conferences, academic and industrial courses and colloquia provide specialist information on these topics and the FFF membership provides a network throughout the entire coal, carbon and energy sectors both within South Africa and across the region.

Protein Research Foundation (PRF)

Certain objectives of the Protein Research Foundation (PRF), also known as the Proteiennavorsingstigtung and its predecessors, including funding of research to achieve specific objectives, date back to 1973.
