The Photographic Society of South Africa is the officially recognised Body representing photographers in Southern Africa. It is the South African equivalent of the Photographic Society of America to whom it is affiliated. PSSA is an autonomous Society and through its affiliations affords members contact with the international affairs of photography.

It is part of the solution to ensure that South Africans have the necessary e-skills (digital skills). NEMISA addresses e-skills interventions through teaching and learning, research, innovation, monitoring and evaluation, and aggregation.NEMISA’s original mandate was to train previously disadvantaged individuals, particularly women, to equip them with necessary skills to play a significant role in the constantly changing broadcasting environment.
NEMISA is positioned to become iKamva Digital Skills Institute and its mandate has been extended to promote and guide the development, training, learning, research and innovation of digital skills.
The Landscape Irrigation Association, formerly known as the TIwas formed in 1983. From humble beginnings in Gauteng, it has become the nationally recognised mouthpiece of the landscape irrigation industry.
The primary objective of the Association is to improve and uphold professionalism and standards in the industry. To this end a comprehensive Code of Conduct and Code of Standards has been compiled. The standards are benchmarked against the best global standards and are continually expanded and updated to keep pace with technological advances in the industry.
The LIA Membership encompasses all spheres of the industry. These include irrigation contractors, irrigation distributors, landscape architects, piping and other irrigation equipment providers. Regular meetings are held, in which members are encouraged to participate and network with their peers in the industry. To facilitate an ongoing educational programme, specialists are invited to give presentations on various important aspects in the industry.
MBSA is an employers’ organisation registered in terms of the Labour Relations Act and exists to represent the interests of members, as well as to provide them with specialist support services to assist them in the successful running of their businesses. The membership comprises some 756 enterprises involved in the building industry and related activities in the province of KwaZulu-Natal.
