Mine Medical Professionals Association (MMPA)
The aim and objectives of the Association are: To study, discuss and to bring to the attention of its members any matters of medical and general interest pertaining to the mining industry. Continuing medical education is encouraged as well as fostering a friendly relationship of exchange of views among members and with other organisations connected with the mining industry.

The Landscape Irrigation Association, formerly known as the TIwas formed in 1983. From humble beginnings in Gauteng, it has become the nationally recognised mouthpiece of the landscape irrigation industry.
The primary objective of the Association is to improve and uphold professionalism and standards in the industry. To this end a comprehensive Code of Conduct and Code of Standards has been compiled. The standards are benchmarked against the best global standards and are continually expanded and updated to keep pace with technological advances in the industry.
The LIA Membership encompasses all spheres of the industry. These include irrigation contractors, irrigation distributors, landscape architects, piping and other irrigation equipment providers. Regular meetings are held, in which members are encouraged to participate and network with their peers in the industry. To facilitate an ongoing educational programme, specialists are invited to give presentations on various important aspects in the industry.
Lift Inspectors Association of South Africa (LIASA)
The Lift Inspectors Association of South Africa was established by a group of seasoned individuals in the lift industry in an effort to create an appropriate forum to discuss and regulate critical and controversial issues, as well as provide a pillar of support to fellow colleagues. Since its establishment, LIASA has matured into an influential organisation duly recognised by the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a “Category A” Voluntary Association.

The institute of South African Municipal Accounting Officers (ISAMAO) is a professional organisation for Municipal Managers in South Africa. It was officially launched on 27 November 2014. The aim of the Institute is the professionalisation of the position of the municipal manager. In terms of its Constitution, among others, it aims to ensure that the municipalities’ collective institutional memory is not lost to local government, generally , and to municipalities, specifically, while setting norms, standards and values for Municipal Accounting Officers.

The IFE is a registered charity working for societal benefit. Founded in 1918, the IFE assesses knowledge of fire and professional experience, awarding internationally recognised membership grades and fire-related qualifications. Through its Engineering Council licence as a Professional Engineering Institution (PEI), the IFE registers suitably qualified IFE members as Chartered Engineers (CEng), Incorporated Engineers (IEng) and Engineering Technicians (Eng Tech). Learning opportunities are worldwide within the IFE fire community and the IFE delivers over 7,300 fire-related exams each year which are required by many Fire and Rescue Services for promotion both within the UK and internationally.

The Institute of Plumbing South Africa was established in 1989 by plumbers. Today the Institute of Plumbing has evolved as the only plumbing body that has become the recognised voice of the South African Plumbing industry.
The Institute provides a platform so as to advise on the practice and principles of the plumbing industry. The Institute regularly consults and liaises with the plumbing industry, governmental and regulatory bodies for the discussion of matters affecting the plumbing industry.
The Institute is recognised and in most cases have representation on most national and internationally plumbing and legislative bodies.
