The Photographic Society of South Africa is the officially recognised Body representing photographers in Southern Africa. It is the South African equivalent of the Photographic Society of America to whom it is affiliated. PSSA is an autonomous Society and through its affiliations affords members contact with the international affairs of photography.
Continue reading →The National Stokvel Association of South Africa is a self-regulatory organisation mandated to represent the interests of the Stokvel sector, as contemplated in Government Gazette 37903. In terms of the Banks Act 1990 (Act No. 94 of 1990), a Stokvel group is required to be a member of NASASA or a similar body approved by the Registrar of Banks.
NASASA is the sole association approved by the Registrar of Banks. It represents a constituency of over 800 000 Stokvel groups consisting of over 11 million individuals, collecting roughly R50 billion annually.
The National Co-Operatives Association of South Africa (NCASA) is the apex body representing Co-Operatives across the nation. Established in 1996, NCASA empowers Co-Operatives through advocacy, strategic support, and resources, promoting sustainable growth and social development. As the leading organization, NCASA unites Co-Operatives from various sectors, driving economic transformation and ensuring their collective voice is heard at national and international levels.
