Nafcoc has a historical relationship with the African National Congress (ANC) dating more than four decades. This relationship was based on a shared vision to liberate South Africa from the apartheid oppressive regime that denied black business the opportunity to operate freely by placing restrictive and limiting their participation in the economy of the country. The Chamber is a registered non-profit organisation in terms of the Companies Act of 2008.
