Continue reading →The Gauteng Growth & Development Agency (GGDA) came into existence on the 01st June 2012, as part of the reconfiguration of Gauteng provincial agencies. The Gauteng Economic Development Agency (GEDA) and Blue IQ Investment Holdings have merged to form the Gauteng Growth & Development Agency. The GGDA’s key purpose is to maximise the effect of developing the economy of Gauteng, through support growth of the cooperatives economy, facilitation of trade and investment and increased strategic economic infrastructure.
Our subsidiary companies include the Automotive Industry Development Centre (AIDC), The Innovation Hub (TIH), Gauteng Industrial Development Zone (IDZ) and the Constitution Hill Development Company (ConHill).
Business for South Africa (B4SA) is an alliance of South African business leaders working with the South African government, and other social partners, to step up, lead and help create and deliver sustainable solutions for South Africa. B4SAs objective is to mobilise business resources and capacity to work alongside and in support of government to address bottlenecks impacting economic growth and social development in South Africa.
Government and B4SA are focusing on sectors of the economy that require urgent intervention; B4SA has formed a collective of business expertise and resources in an effort to mobilise teams to help revitalise important economic imperatives. B4SA aims to be part of the solution to the national economic crisis, and to ensure regular and informative stakeholder engagement and feedback.

In 2015, the George Business Chamber NPC Southern Cape was formally registered as a Non-Profit Company. The primary purpose of the Chamber is to facilitate the unlocking of business opportunities for all businesses by supporting and developing them through networking events, business incubation, mentoring and entrepreneurial development. As the Leading voice of Business in the Garden Route, the vision of the George Business Chamber is to promote and cultivate an inclusive economy thereby not excluding any sector of the wider business community of the George area. Our behaviour is focussed on numerous enabling factors. By raising the bar and continuously evolving to a higher level of performance, we strive to achieve a world class organisation. We currently have around 75 members which consist of a variety of businesses in the Gordon’s Bay area.
