Gauteng Growth and Development Agency (GGDA)

The Gauteng Growth & Development Agency (GGDA) came into existence on the 01st June 2012, as part of the reconfiguration of Gauteng provincial agencies. The Gauteng Economic Development Agency (GEDA) and Blue IQ Investment Holdings have merged to form the Gauteng Growth & Development Agency. The GGDA’s key purpose is to maximise the effect of developing the economy of Gauteng, through support growth of the cooperatives economy, facilitation of trade and investment and increased strategic economic infrastructure.
Our subsidiary companies include the Automotive Industry Development Centre (AIDC), The Innovation Hub (TIH), Gauteng Industrial Development Zone (IDZ) and the Constitution Hill Development Company (ConHill).

Limpopo Economic Development Agency (LEDA)

LEDA is established in terms of the Limpopo Economic Development Corporation Act, Act No. 5 of 1994, as amended, and complies with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) as a Schedule 3D agency. It has been established as a special purpose vehicle, culminating from the amalgamation of four historical agencies, namely Trade and Investment Limpopo, the Limpopo Business Support Agency, the Limpopo Agribusiness Development Corporation and the Limpopo Economic Development Enterprise. Its mission is to implement integrated economic development initiatives in Limpopo, through:
•accelerated industrial diversification;
•increased levels of trade and investment; and
•by developing sustainable enterprises.

Housing Development Agency (HDA)

The Housing Development Agency (HDA) is a national public sector development agency that acquires and prepares land as well as develop the land and project manage the development of housing and human settlements. We carry out our activities in partnership with a range of stakeholders including national, provincial and local government and municipalities, as well as with communities, developers, financiers and other affected parties. Established in 2009, the Agency is established by an Act of Parliament in 2008 and is accountable through its board to the Minister of Human Settlements.

South African National Space Agency (SANSA)

SANSA was created to promote the use of space and strengthen cooperation in space-related activities while fostering research in space science, advancing scientific engineering through developing human capital, and supporting industrial development in space technologies.

The research and work carried out at SANSA focuses on space science, engineering and technology that can promote development, build human capital and provide important national services. Much of this work involves monitoring the Earth and our surrounding environment, and using the collected data to ensure that navigation, communication technology and weather forecasting services function as intended.
