SACLAP’S vision is to establish, sustain, advance and govern the Landscape Professions in the interest of the public and to the benefit of the environment.

  The SA Council for the Architectural Profession is a statutory, SAQA-recognised professional body. They have eight professional designations:

1. Professional Landscape Architectural Technician;
2. Professional Landscape Architectural Technologist;
3. Professional Senior Landscape Architectural Technologist;
4. Professional Landscape Architect;
5. Professional Landscape Technician;
6. Professional Landscape Technologist;
7. Professional Senior Landscape Technologist;
8. Professional Landscape Manager
