The Electric Vehicle Industry Association (EVIA) is a non-profit organization focused on advancing the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs).
Founded in 2013 by uYilo, SANEDI, GridCars, BMW SA and Nissan SA as the Electric Vehicle
Infrastructure Alliance.
Working group activities served towards a guideline that was adopted and promoted for EV charging plugs, standards and signage for South Africa.
Presented to SABS and
NAAMSA.
The Electric Vehicle Industry Association is now national platform of multi-stakeholders from public-private sector based consortiums

Representations include Government departments and agencies, electric vehicle OEMs, electricity infrastructure and suppliers, Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) suppliers and ICT / smart grid service providers

At EXSTRUERETUR NPC, the value in everyone is seen. Exotic Leather South Africa is a non-profit organisation that represents the various clusters of the domestic exotic leather industry. Exotic Leather South Africa is responsible for ensuring that the South African exotic leather industry is positioned as a research-based, sustainable and ethical source of exotic leather products according to local and international standards. Exotic Leather South Africa provides the exotic leather industry with a support structure while promoting the interests of producers and processors of exotic leather.

The organisation works in partnership with industry bodies such as the South Africa Crocodile Industry Association (SACIA) and the South African Ostrich Business Chamber (SAOBC) who represent the crocodile and ostrich industry respectively, to develop industry standards and benchmarks that can improve the development and long-term sustainability of the exotic leather industry.

The organisation attracts members from an array of different environmentally-relevant disciplines which results in the ELA being an ideal forum for networking and the sharing of information and knowledge in the field of environmental law.
