Food & Allied Workers’ Union (FAWU)

The Food and Allied Workers Union (FAWU) is a trade union in South Africa. It was formed through the amalgamation of the Food and Canning Workers’ Union, the Sweet, Food and Allied Workers’ Union and the Retail and Allied Workers’ Union. FAWU is a founding affiliate of the South African Federation of Trade Unions (SAFTU).The union’s core functions are recruiting and servicing its members and bargaining with employers over labour matters on its members’ behalf. The union recruits workers from the farming, forestry, food, fast food, beverage and fishing community, wholesale and retail as well as hospitality sectors.

Health Products Association of Southern Africa (HPASA)

The HPA has been serving South Africa’s health interests since it was founded in 1976. This respected, non-profit organization represents the South African Natural Health and Wellness Industry including Health Supplements (HS) and Discipline Specific (DS) Complementary Medicines (CMs) industry.

MIASA is an industry association linking companies across South Africa to represent and grow the boating and marine manufacturing industry. MIASA plays a vital role in liaising between industry, government and other stakeholders to promote the industry and address challenges and blockages. It seeks to represent the entire industry value chain from manufacturers and retailers to consumer and business services both nationally and internationallyMIASA is a member of the International Council of Marine Industry Associations and it works closely with the South African Boat Builders Export Council (SABBEX).

The Marine Industry Association of South Africa was established as a nationally inclusive, representative association to unite the entire boating industry, from boatbuilders and their suppliers to retailers, importers, brokers, surveyors, yacht clubs, fishing associations, to name but a few.

MIASA is open to all companies and covers the entire boating value chain from design to manufacture, to sale, to mooring to boating activities.

Master Builders Association East Cape (MBA EC)

The Master Builders Association East Cape celebrates over 100 years of service to members and the building industry.

The MBA is a registered employers association which represents the interests of 700 employer members throughout the entire Southern and Eastern Cape, including the East London/Border area.

Membership is comprised of small & large, emerging & established contractor & specialist contractor members in all sectors of the building industry as well as associate members supplying materials, goods, plant and equipment or professional services.

The Association is affilliated to Master Builders South Africa (MBSA).

The Association currently operates on a wide scale with regular meetings at its three main branches namely, Port Elizabeth, East London and Southern Cape. Meetings are also held regularly in Grahamstown, Port Alfred, Queenstown, Jeffreys Bay and annually in most of the country towns within the Association’s area of jurisdiction.
