Continue reading →The Association of Aviation Design Organisation was founded in 2014 and aligned itself as an affiliate of CAASA in mid 2016. Primarily developed to protect the interest of the South African CAR Part 147 Approved Design Organisations and provide a unified representation from Industry to the SACAA relating to the design activities of the member organisations, the association now has a more significant role to play providing technical advice to CAASA and its various sub-committees and embers where aircraft design, modification, testing and certification issues are raised.
Continue reading →The association of Non-Scheduled Operators (ANSO) was founded early in 2009 as an affiliate of the Commercial Aviation Association of Southern Africa (CAASA). The intention was to satisfy the need to have technical and industry-specific support and representation pertaining to matters affecting fixed-wing non-scheduled commercial operators.
As one of the youngest affiliates of CAASA, it still has a lot to achieve, and although significantly shy of its parent association’s 70-year existence, it sees itself as a strategic component of the organisation, and an essential contributor for the future.
