The association of Non-Scheduled Operators (ANSO) was founded early in 2009 as an affiliate of the Commercial Aviation Association of Southern Africa (CAASA). The intention was to satisfy the need to have technical and industry-specific support and representation pertaining to matters affecting fixed-wing non-scheduled commercial operators.
As one of the youngest affiliates of CAASA, it still has a lot to achieve, and although significantly shy of its parent associations 70-year existence, it sees itself as a strategic component of the organisation, and an essential contributor for the future.
