The Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA) provides skills development services to the construction sector, to implement the objectives of the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS III) and to ensure that people obtain the critical or scarce skills that are needed to build the capacity of the construction sector to become economically sustainable and globally competitive. To better understand the skills need in the construction industry CETA conducts research on the skills that employers need. CETA is responsible for identifying skills gaps and developing the education and training programmes that are appropriate to address the skills shortage in line with the skills needs of the construction industry. CETA also funds a number of learning programmes including skills programmes, learnerships, apprenticeships, internships and bursaries at various public education and training institutions such as Universities and TVET Colleges. that all training reflects the needs and requirement of the sector.

The Black Professional Valuers Association (BPVA) was formed to address the historic and legacy imbalances within the property valuation industry. Black candidate valuer’s historically struggled to become professional valuer’s. As a result the industry does not reflect the the demographics of South Africa. BPVA aims to help transform representation withn the industry.

The Black Professional Valuers Associationrepresents train and educate Black Professional and Candidate Valuer’s. The BPVA also strives to create awareness within the public and private sector about the profession throught various initiatives .

Association of Corporate Treasurers of South Africa (ACTSA)

ACTSA aims to provide both its members and potential members with ongoing networking opportunities, exposure to international treasury practices and creates a forum for the discussion of industry-specific issues.
In the fast developing world of finance, the management of an organisation’s cash flows, investments, borrowings and financial exposures is no longer left to the accountant, who may not have the necessary understanding of the risks and required management skills. Treasury is the responsibility of trained specialists whose expertise includes financial strategy formulation, a good knowledge of investments, the management of the treasury systems and banking relationships, and the management and understanding of market, interest and liquidity risks. Although ACTSA’s functions are concentrated in the following regions of South AfricGauteng, Cape and Kwazulu-Natal, membership is open across Southern Africa and with special permission even elsewhere in the world.

The Africa Institute of SA (AISA) undertakes basic and applied policy-relevant research that focuses on the development challenges and opportunities facing the African continent. It seeks to provide leadership and harness African agency in the drive for the transformation of African societies into dynamic, peaceful, prosperous spaces. Founded in 1956 and incorporated into the HSRC in 2014, AISA takes its lead from Agenda 2063, Africa’s strategic framework that aims to deliver on its goal for inclusive and sustainable development. The Africa Institute of South Africa undertakes basic, applied and comparative research devoted to the study of Africa and African Diasporas. The centre also collaborates with and provides research-based policy advice to African multilateral organisations on public affairs. Its projects create platforms for dialogue, research dissemination, and capacity building through interventions such as the African Unity for Renaissance Conference, the African Young Graduates Conference and the Archie Mafeje Memorial Annual Lecture. AISA’s key stakeholders include the African Union, the United Nations, the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, the Southern African Development Community, government departments, universities, science councils and civil society.

Through CAASA we have a role to play in the rules, regulations and practices that governs and promotes aviation. AATOSA creates an opportunity to be involved, share opinions and contribute to the growth of the aviation sector and skills development. Every aviation training organization should be part of this association and every customer, student and instructor of such an ATO should insist on it!
