Continue reading →South African National Boxing Organisation (SANABO) is the organisation that governs the sport of Open Boxing (amateur boxing) for men and women in South Africa. SANABO is affiliated to the International Boxing Association (AIBA), along with the African Boxing Confederation (AFBC). SANABO is also affiliated to the South African
Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC), and Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC). It organises national competitions such as the SANABO Elite National Championships, tournaments and trials.
The Western Cape Canoe Union (WCCU) serves primarily as a regional planning, administration & communication coordinator, for the paddle sports of flat water and river canoeing (K1 & K2), ocean surfski, canoe polo and wave ski in the Western Cape. WCCU is run by representatives from the affiliated clubs and coordinates the local Club and Metro / District organising efforts.

Majorette-Sport World Federation (MWF) SAMCA is also affiliated to the ICU (International Cheer Union) and the MWF (Majorette-Sport World Federation) and compete at both federations’ international world championships.
