Founded in 2013 by uYilo, SANEDI, GridCars, BMW SA and Nissan SA as the Electric Vehicle
Infrastructure Alliance.
Working group activities served towards a guideline that was adopted and promoted for EV charging plugs, standards and signage for South Africa.

NAAMSA.
The Electric Vehicle Industry Association is now national platform of multi-stakeholders from public-private sector based consortiums
Representations include Government departments and agencies, electric vehicle OEMs, electricity infrastructure and suppliers, Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) suppliers and ICT / smart grid service providers
The Eastern Province Veteran Car Club, based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, was founded in 1969. The club’s aim is to encourage the acquisition, use, restoration, preservation, maintenance and exhibition of Veteran, Vintage and Classic motor vehicles.
The EPVCC keeps statistical, historical and technical records of vehicles as well as an up to date membership register reflecting vehicles currently owned by members.
The Club organises and promotes competitions, trials and other events in which Veteran, Vintage and Classic motor vehicles can participate.

As the lead voice in the motor industry, the RMI is a member-driven organisation that constantly seeks solutions to concerns raised by members in the day-to-day running of their businesses. Members needs are serviced through five regional offices, manned by 63 professional staff. In addition, the RMI is the major employer representative of the Motor Industry Bargaining Council, playing a significant role in labour negotiations as well as the industrys social benefit schemes, dispute resolution processes and exemption procedures.
