Oil Seeds Advisory Committee (OAC)
The main objectives of the Oilseeds Advisory Comittee (OAC) are:
the rendering of advice to the trustees of the Oilseeds Trust in respect of the application of its funds for the benefit of the oilseeds industry;
making of recommendations to all interested parties in the oilseeds industry;- the appointment of trustees to the Oilseeds Trust and any other institutions which the Committee deems necessary to investigate, promote and report on matters relating to the Oilseeds Industry, referred to it.

The purpose of Badisa is to implement and sustain programmes in the Western, Northern and Eastern Cape that provide social services and residential care to vulnerable people. We do this in collaboration with communities, churches, other organisations, government, and funders. Badisa is a registered non-profit organisation (NPO 011-891) and a public benefit organisation (PBO 930 006 348), and is committed to social development through 134 community-based programmes in the Western and parts of the Northern and Eastern Cape.
Our services are in line with the national development plan of South Africa, as well as the global sustainable development goals.

The Labour Research Service (LRS) is a membership-based labour support organisation established in 1986. We support the core functions of trade unions such as collective bargaining and organising and help to link unions with other role-players and constituencies. Our work influences policies that will enable workers to fully claim their rights. We support global union federations in building trade unions and trade union networks around multinational companies in Africa. We influence approaches to gender equality and gender-based violence in unions and within communities in South Africa and Africa. We work to develop new layers of worker leaders within trade unions and in so doing support the reproduction of these important organs of civil society.
