SusFon was established in 2020 as a non-profit organization that conducts business with altruistic or philanthropic intent. SusFon’s vision is to assist communities working in collaboration with public institutions in a bid to improve their livelihoods and their right to basic services in a participatory and co-creative manner and to support these communities and institutions to address inequality by means of social, economic, and educational empowerment.
Continue reading →The ODF is the national umbrella body for the promotion of organ and tissue donation. We actively plan and implement education and publicity programmes that are designed to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation with the aim being to prime individuals towards consent.
The ODF is not a medical organization and plays no role in the allocation, or procurement, of organs. We receive no funding from government and rely entirely on our own fundraising initiatives and generous donations from corporates and individuals to support our work.

Our Vision is the empowerment of people to overcome malnutrition, famine, hunger and the effects of desease. Food Gardens Foundation achieves community development and social upliftment by teaching people small-scale low-cost organic Food Gardening. Organic trenchbed gardening, according to our specific method (called ‘Food Gardening’), makes efficient use of normal domestic and other organic waste to revitalise the soil and feed the vegetables.
Continue reading →The Flame Lily Foundation endeavours to assist former residents of Rhodesia / Zimbabwe who are legal permanent residents of South Africa. We provide or facilitate Residential Accommodation for persons over the age of 60, where possible. When called upon, we provide limited welfare assistance to deserving former residents of Rhodesia / Zimbabwe, in particular to the aged and the disabled. We also endeavour to preserve the heritage of Rhodesia and to promote interest in the country’s history and culture. To achieve these objects, we rely on the goodwill of the South African community as a whole, former residents of Rhodesia in general, and dedicated volunteers in particular.

Continue reading →The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) is an agency of the Department of Arts and Culture that was created to ensure the equitable growth of South Africa’s film and video industry. We do this by providing funding for the development, production, marketing and distribution of films and also the training and development of filmmakers. In addition, the NFVF commissions research and produces industry statistics that provide both the public and stakeholders with valuable insights into the South African film industry.
