EAPA-SA, currently in its 23rd year, is the only officially recognised voice for the E A profession. It is continually growing and expanding in terms of its scope and influence both in the public and private sector. In recent years EAPA-SA’s presence has expanded into other parts of Africa to support the establishment of like structures. There are currently ten active Chapters across the various provinces of South Africa.
EAPASA is a non-statutory, SAQA-recognised professional body. They have four professional designations:
The function of the ECLB is to regulate the registration of retail sales
and micro-manufacturing of liquor in the the Eastern Cape. A further function of the ECLB is to advise the Member of the Executive Council of the Province for Economic Development and Environmental Affairs with regard to liquor industry matters and to exercise certain further powers contemplated in the Eastern Cape Liquor Act 10 of 2003, and the National Liquor Act 53 of 2003.
The ECIC provides insurance that enables South African exporters to offer their services and products on the international market. It has a particular focus on emerging markets in Africa that are considered too risky for conventional insurers. Its overarching goal – and its mandate from the South African government as its sole shareholder – is to make South African exporters attractive to international buyers to attract foreign income, stimulate domestic economic growth and create local jobs.

Continue reading →Epilepsy South Africa is the only national non-profit organisation in the country focussing exclusively on rendering specialised and comprehensive services to people living with epilepsy and other disabilities, including education and economic empowerment through job creation and entrepreneurship- and skills training suited to almost any level of development. They are dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of people living with and affected by epilepsy as well as other disabilities.
The organisation renders vital services to numerous South Africans who, in addition to living with epilepsy, have multiple challenges ranging from mild to profound intellectual disability, Down Syndrome, hydrocephalus and speech impairments to physical and psychiatric disabilities such as schizophrenia
Founded in 1973, the Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT) is one of South Africa’s most reputable conservation NGOs. The EWT is dedicated to conserving threatened species and ecosystems in southern and East Africa for the benefit of all people. We achieve this by implementing target-driven research and conservation action programmes, implementing projects that address the threats facing
species, and supporting sustainable natural resource management.
EThekwini Maritime Cluster (EMC) is a non-profit company with the mandate to support and promote the maritime industry within Durban although at times it has a reach to other areas of KwaZulu Natal. EMC champions and advocates for the maritime industry through bridging the gap between industrial policy from government and the private sector, thereby unleashing the economic growth in the maritime industry.
