Built Environment Professions Export Council (BEPEC)

As one of South Africa’s 18 export councils, the Built Environment Professions Export Council (BEPEC) assists South African engineering, architects, and quantity surveying firms, as well as contractors to export their services into new markets in Africa and beyond.

As the prime export council in South Africa that focuses on built-environmental professions, we operate in a partnership with the South African Department of Trade and Industry (dti). As a result, our mandate is in line with their objectives: diversifying South Africa’s export sector by helping built-environment companies identify and access new markets. Additionally, we are also working towards transforming South Africans exports by helping smaller and black-owned businesses become export ready.

Cosmetic Export Council of South Africa (CECOSA)

The Cosmetic Export Council of South Africa (CECOSA) is a Section 21, non-profit organisation and has a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) with the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti). CECOSA works in conjunction with the dti and South African Embassies/Economic Offices around the world. The prime objective is to create an exporting environment that will promote increased business for South African Companies and highlight our world-class cosmetic products to the global market.

Bargaining Council for the Contract Cleaning Services Industry (BCCCI)

The BCCCSI aims to promote labour peace by means of a central negotiating forum for the negotiation and implementation of conditions of employment. It goes beyond the mere maintaining of labour peace. The Bargaining Council is also there to bring about a favourable, positive and constructive relationship between employers and employees.

Amanzi Bargaining Council (ABC)

ABC is the recognized Employer Organisation representing Water Utilities in the BC, while the trade union parties represent in excess of 5000 employees in the sector. The employer body and the trade unions are responsible for negotiating conditions of service and matters of mutual interest that will become binding on all employees in the sector.

Agricultural Produce Agents Council (APAC)

The Council regulates the occupations of fresh produce, export and livestock agents and maintain and enhance the status and dignity of those occupations and the integrity of persons practicing those occupations, according to Section 9, Agricultural Produce Agents Act, 12 of 1992.
