South African Masters Sport Association (SAMSA)

At present 60 different sports are actively involved in the promotion of “Sport for Life” with regular participation in national and international competitions and championships. SAMSA is also a proud, good standing member of SASCOC.
South African Masters have brought home many gold, silver and bronze medals over the past 10 years and some have been crowned World Master Champions. SAMSA as a Federation of National Masters Sports bodies acknowledges and respects the autonomy of its members, with no interference in individual codes’ affairs and events/competitions.

Founded in 1972, Ceramics Southern Africa is the official representative body of potters in Southern Africa. The objective of the association is to promote ceramics in Southern Africa by improving the work being produced and to foster an interest in ceramics by the general public. This is done by presenting workshops and organising exhibitions regionally and nationally. The purpose of Ceramics Southern Africa is to maintain a representative forum for the encouragement and fostering of the art and craft of ceramics in Southern Africa. The field encompasses all relevant processes that add value to clay.

Our initiatives target vulnerable youth and adults (of all races) who are at risk of suffering the negative consequences of alcohol abuse and misuse through targeted on-the-ground initiatives which are aimed at reducing the harmful effects alcohol abuse has on our communities.

Road Freight Association (RFA)

The Road Freight Association was established in 1975 to support its Members who are, in the main, road freight operators. It is a lobbying and negotiating body which influences the state of the industry, rates, upkeep of the road infrastructure, road safety, freight security, driver interests, cross-border transport, education, health, the fuel price, law enforcement, labour relations and many other issues related to road freight transport.

South African Litchi Growers’ Association (SALGA)

The litchi industry is the smallest of the three members of the Subtropical Growers’ Association (Subtrop). Despite its size, SALGA has a proud history of research. SALGA aims to use its limited resources to do things that individual growers cannot do on their own. Such activities include production and post-harvest research; study groups, liaison with government and other bodies; and work to access new markets.The SA Litchi Growers’ Association (SALGA) is a membership-based organisation that is run by specialists and litchi growers who have a keen interest in the litchi industry.
