The Electric Vehicle Industry Association (EVIA) is a non-profit organization focused on advancing the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs).
Founded in 2013 by uYilo, SANEDI, GridCars, BMW SA and Nissan SA as the Electric Vehicle
Infrastructure Alliance.
Working group activities served towards a guideline that was adopted and promoted for EV charging plugs, standards and signage for South Africa.
Presented to SABS and
NAAMSA.
The Electric Vehicle Industry Association is now national platform of multi-stakeholders from public-private sector based consortiums
Representations include Government departments and agencies, electric vehicle OEMs, electricity infrastructure and suppliers, Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) suppliers and ICT / smart grid service providers
Dictionary Unit for South African English (DSAE)
The Dictionary Unit for South African English (DSAE) is a non-profit company and an affiliated institute of Rhodes University, Makhanda (formerly Grahamstown), South Africa. It was established in 1969 to collect and record English as it is used in South Africa. Since then, it has compiled extensive archives which reflect the diverse influences which shape South African English.

FAMAC has its origins in FAMSA Western Cape, where an interest group was formed in 1988 to look into the possibility of offering a divorce/family mediation service. After training with Lisa Parkinson and Henry Brown of the Family Mediators’ Association in the UK FAMAC adopted the FMA training model and became autonomous.

The Free Range Pork Association promotes Free Range Pig Farming in South Africa and helps small family farmers to raise pigs outside in a way that allows the pigs to express their natural instinctive behaviours. The Association does this by setting standards for the Free-Range Pork Industry to secure the best tasting and mouth-watering pork for the caring and discerning consumer.

FishSA is an umbrella organisation that works for the good of the
South African fishing industry. It represents 12 fisheries associations that jointly harvest, process and market about 500 000 tons of fish per year. These products are sold into the local market and exported to all four corners of the globe. Whereas some low-value fish species are an important source of affordable protein for millions of South Africans, other species are highly appreciated on export markets and generate foreign exchange and economic benefits for South Africa.
Department: Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID)
An effective independent investigate oversight body that ensures policing that is committed to promoting respect for the rule of law and human dignity.
The mission of IPID is to conduct independent, impartial and quality investigations of identified criminal offences allegedly committed by members of the South African Police Services (SAPS) and Metro Police Services (MPS), and to make appropriate recommendations in line with the IPID Act, whilst maintaining the highest standard of integrity and excellence.
