Continue reading →Deaf Sport South Africa or DSSA is the national association of multi-code sports of Deaf people in South Africa. Founded in 2012 by Deaf people from 7 provinces namely Free State, KwaZulu Natal, North West, Gauteng, Eastern Cape, Limpopo and Western Cape.
The reason behind the formation of DSSA was the passion for a winning Deaf national team and integrating into hearing sport bodies thereby ensuring equal access to resources.
DSSA is a registered non-profit organisation (NPO) and Public Benefit Organisation (PBO).
The Western Cape Archery Federation (WCAF) is the recognised official representative body for the sport of Archery in the Western Cape Province. The body was formed by the amalgamation of the target (WPAA) and field (WCIFAA) bodies as required by the sporting authorities.
