They are also known as the Percheron Telersgenootskap van SA. The Percheron Horse Breeders Society of South Africa is the only legitimate Breeders Society of Percheron horses in South Africa. Our Society is affiliated with SA Studbook and operates within the framework of our constitution, as accepted, and approved by the Registrar of Animal Improvement in South Africa.

The Society has members all over the Republic of South Africbut there seem to be a concentration of breeders and owners in the Southern part of South Africa.
