Continue reading →The South African Humanities Deans Association (SAHUDA) is established by resolution of the Deans of Faculties of Humanities (or equivalent faculties). This proposal emerges from two gatherings of Deans (or their representatives) at the University of Johannesburg, on 26-27 February 2009, and 5-6 November 2010. SAHUDA is deemed to be the duly constituted and authorised body representing its members. The current Dean or Deputy Dean of each Faculty of Humanities at every public university in South Africa is a member of SAHUDA and is entitled to participate.

Our aim is to qualify teachers and help them improve their dance teaching skills. For more than 80 years we have provided training for dance teachers and examiners, enabling teachers to enter their students for examinations and competitions as well as running many successful championships in a variety of dance styles.
