The SA Institute of Financial Markets (SAIFM) is a non-profit voluntary association established to promote professionalism and integrity among members and the financial markets as a whole and is registered as a professional body in terms of the National Qualifications Act.

The SA Institute of Financial Markets is a non-statutory, SAQA-recognised professional body. They have two professional designations:

1. Member of the Institute of Financial Markets (MIFM);
2. Fellow of the Institute of Financial Markets (FIFM)
