Established in 1957, the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA) represents professionals in public relations and communication management throughout the southern African region and has registered practitioners in Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland and South Africa. PRISA promotes the common interests of public relations professionals and best public relations practices public relations through its code of ethics, dialogu with stakeholdets and contribution to curriculum development in institutions of higher learning.

  The Public Relations Institute of SA is a non-statutory, SAQA-recognised professional body. They have three professional designations:

1. Professional Practitioner in Real Estate (PPRE);
2. Master Practitioner in Real Estate (MPRE);
3. Chartered Practitioner in Real Estate (CPRE)
