The Plumbing Industry Registration Board is a non-statutory, SAQA-recognised professional body. They have six professional designations:

1. Licensed Plumber;
2. Qualified Plumber;
3. Hot Water System Installer;
4. Solar Installer;
5. Plumbing Training Assessor;
6. Plumbing Inspector
