The Electric Vehicle Industry Association (EVIA) is a non-profit organization focused on advancing the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs).
Founded in 2013 by uYilo, SANEDI, GridCars, BMW SA and Nissan SA as the Electric Vehicle
Infrastructure Alliance.
Working group activities served towards a guideline that was adopted and promoted for EV charging plugs, standards and signage for South Africa.
Presented to SABS and
NAAMSA.
The Electric Vehicle Industry Association is now national platform of multi-stakeholders from public-private sector based consortiums

Representations include Government departments and agencies, electric vehicle OEMs, electricity infrastructure and suppliers, Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) suppliers and ICT / smart grid service providers

Education Association of South Africa (EASA)

The Education Association of South Africa (EASA) is an inclusive network of academics, researchers, and practitioners who all prioritize education, particularly education in South Africa. By means of active exchange and critique of hypotheses, theories, and practices, EASA-members strive to promote excellence in education-related research and science. EASA hosts an annual conference (generally in January) and this event offers a platform for spirited debate about education, past and present, and how this might best inform future education and necessary social change.

Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)

The ECSA’s primary role is the regulation of the engineering profession in terms of this Act. Its core functions are the accreditation of engineering programmes, registration of persons as professionals in specified categories, and the regulation of the practice of registered persons. Consequently, the ECSA is the only body in South Africa that is authorised to register engineering professionals and bestow the use of engineering titles, such as Pr Eng, Pr Tech Eng, Pr Techni Eng, Pr Cert Eng, on persons who have met the requisite professional registration criteria.

Environmental and Developmental Agency Trust (EDA)

The Environmental and Development Agency (EDA) Trust is a non-governmental organisation with over 20 years of experience in integrated rural development in the communal areas of South Africa. EDA works with rural communities and organisations in the Herschel and Maluti sub-regions of the Eastern Cape, in the southern and central districts of the Northern Province and in the Bronkhorstspruit district in Mpumalanga/Gauteng. EDA is affiliated to a number of rural networks of NGOs and CBOs, and will work to widen the discussions on traditional leaders and institutions into these networks, and to encourage broad participation in the popular formulation of policy at all levels.
