Ceramics Southern Africa (CSA)

Founded in 1972, Ceramics Southern Africa is the official representative body of potters in Southern Africa. The objective of the association is to promote ceramics in Southern Africa by improving the work being produced and to foster an interest in ceramics by the general public. This is done by presenting workshops and organising exhibitions regionally and nationally. The purpose of Ceramics Southern Africa is to maintain a representative forum for the encouragement and fostering of the art and craft of ceramics in Southern Africa. The field encompasses all relevant processes that add value to clay.

Cuckoo Bird Club (CBC)

We are a small, super-friendly bird club. Our motto is 20% birding, 80% fun!

The Cuckoo Bird Club was started in 1998 by Monty Brett. The first members were graduates on the Sappi/Brett Beginners Bird Course of 1997. The club is known for its laid back attitude to birding, for fun, knowledge and pleasure. Outings are designed to be pleasant and appeal to all, young and old, experienced and inexperienced and to cover most of the habitats that will provide the greatest variety of birds.

The Cosmetic, Toiletry & Fragrance Association of South Africa (CTFA) was formed in 1994 when it became evident that no matter how strong individual companies in the personal care sector were, they needed a united force for a stronger effect if they were to achieve their business and marketing goals. Since inception, the purpose of the CTFA has been to guide Members on the South African Regulatory Codes of Practice and Standards and to ensure that the cosmetic and personal care industry flourishes. The CTFA works with the industry sector, the South African Bureau of Standards, Department of Health, Department of Trade and Industry and international accredited bodies to ensure alignment for a responsible industry in South Africa.
