Historically, the science of Geostatistics has been developed within the context of the Mining and Petroleum industry, but it can also be practically applied in the fields of environment, agriculture, forestry, fishery and epidemiology.
The Hluhluwe Queen Pineapple Marketing Association (also known as the Hluhluwe Pineapple Markwting Association) was established on 11 November 1988 to promote pineapples. Pineapple farmers pay a levy on their production hectares to become a member of the association.

Continue reading →The GBA affords its members and their dependents peace of mind by providing funerals, cremations, and related services and products or cash disbursements within the RSA. The services are provided by our own personnel or approved contractors. Funds are efficaciously invested in order to maintain the benefits substratum of the GBA and to prove for optimum growth in the future. The survival and growth of the GBA resides in the increase of its membership as well as the periodic addition of approved groups through innovative thinking and attitudes. A Council elected from the members is responsible for the strategic positioning and functioning of the GBA by an executive management. All activities shall be aimed towards the growth of the GBA and the maintenance of optimum service towards its members.
Continue reading →FBUMA serves as the collective entity of employers (businesses) in our Industry and is therefore registered (in terms of the Labour Relations Act) as an Employers Organisation.
FBUMA represents its members in collective bargaining with Unions at Industry level. These negotiations take place at the Furniture Bargaining Council and include negotiations of wages and conditions of service for the majority of employers in our Industry.
Continue reading →Since the early days, HASA has been at the forefront of fighting with the powers that be to cut down the amount of red tape to operate and maintain helicopters in South Africa. We are not alone in this struggle, as this is a worldwide phenomenon, and we learn from our associate members like Helicopter Association International (HAI). In 2014, we also become an associate member of the Middle East & Africa Helicopter Association (MEAHA).
