Continue reading →PNDSA (The Post-Natal Depression Support Association of South Africa) was officially constituted in February 1997, by a small group of health professionals, and “PND survivors”, under the leadership of Liz Mills. It is a registered non-profit association funded by donations from the private individuals, companies and membership fees, and is staffed, almost entirely, by volunteers. Charges for services are calculated on a sliding scale. Some professional members of PNDSA offer their services at a reduced rate.
While many mothers, do, in fact, experience the birth of a baby as a “happy event”; PNDSA is concerned with the ten to thirty percent of parents, for whom this is not true.

The pomegranate industry gained popularity over recent years. As the industry became more commercialised, pomegranate producers realised the mutual benefits of forming an industry body through which common focus areas can be identified and addressed by the association.

An Ocularist is also qualified to fit Scleral or Haptic Shells (an artificial eye shell which fits over a blinded eye). The Ocularist’s domain is the eye socket and blinded Physical eyes.

This includes measuring, testing, calibration, verification and other bodies, as well as laboratories which operate in well-defined areas of R&D in the natural and applied sciences.
The objectives of the new National Laboratory Association is to become a truly representative association for accredited and non-accredited member laboratories.
