The Eastern Cape Aquarium and Aquascaping Club is a community-focused organisation dedicated to uniting aquarium and aquascaping enthusiasts across the Eastern Cape and beyond. The club’s mission is to bring together the collective expertise, experience, and passion of its members and to actively share this knowledge with others. By doing so, the club aims to grow understanding, appreciation, and responsible practice within the aquarium hobby.
At the heart of the club is a strong commitment to the welfare of aquarium organisms. The club strives to safeguard the quality of life of fish, plants, and other aquatic life maintained in aquariums by promoting ethical fishkeeping, proper care techniques, and informed decision-making. Alongside this, the club actively promotes awareness of natural aquatic ecosystems, encouraging members to understand, respect, and protect the environments from which many aquarium species originate, ensuring these ecosystems can be preserved and shared with future generations.
