The National Woolgrowers Association of SA (NWGA), also known as the Nasionale Wolkwekersvereniging Van Suid Afrika (NWSA), having been founded in 1926 and established in 1929, is the oldest producer organisation serving the wooled sheep farmer. It has since developed into a countrywide association comprising of 6 provinces with a membership base of more than 4 500 commercial and 20 000 communal members. Branches can be found in all provinces.
Our motto is more sheep: more wool and this is achieved through the performance of Production Technology Services which is offered to commercial and communal farmers.
