Flame Lily Foundation (FLF)

The Flame Lily Foundation endeavours to assist former residents of Rhodesia / Zimbabwe who are legal permanent residents of South Africa. We provide or facilitate Residential Accommodation for persons over the age of 60, where possible. When called upon, we provide limited welfare assistance to deserving former residents of Rhodesia / Zimbabwe, in particular to the aged and the disabled. We also endeavour to preserve the heritage of Rhodesia and to promote interest in the country’s history and culture. To achieve these objects, we rely on the goodwill of the South African community as a whole, former residents of Rhodesia in general, and dedicated volunteers in particular.

Fire Protection Association of Southern Africa (FPASA)

The Fire Protection Association of Southern Africa (FPASA) was established in 1973 to provide a specialized fire safety management technical and training service to industry, commerce and society at large.

Over the years the Association has developed a range of membership options and technical, training and fire safety management services that are recognized for their quality, professionalism and value.

Today the role of the FPASA covers Education, Information, Advice, Consultancy and Training (Fire College).

Fire Fighting Equipment Traders Association (FFETA)

The Fire Fighting Equipment Traders Association [FFETA] promotes high standards in equipment, workmanship, maintenance and service to the public. We meet regularly with the South African Bureau of Standards and our members ascribe to the highest level of safe working practices and hold a FFETA recognised certificate of competence for each employee engaged in service maintenance.

Fern Society of Southern Africa (FSSA)

The Fern Society of Southern Africa (also known as the Varingvereniging van Suidelike Afrika) has been associated with various persons, places and organizations including Keith Kirsten’s Waterkloof Garden Centre (1985), the Manie van der Schijff Botanical Garden of the University of Pretoria (1989), the Pretoria National Botanical Garden (1990) and the Fern Festival in Graskop (1992). Several fern surveys were done for forestry companies as well as for Nature Conservation and various private landowners over the past 27 years. The Society presently has approximately 80 members throughout Southern Africall sharing a mutual interest in ferns.

Fairest Cape Association (FCA)

The Fairest Cape Association is an independent, registered non-profit organization (002-892 NPO) with it’s office in Cape Town. It was founded in 1980 to raise the awareness of the effect of litter in the natural and built environment through anti-litter campaigns and clean ups, in the city, suburbs and at beaches. Environmental and Developmental Agency Trust (EDA)

The Environmental and Development Agency (EDA) Trust is a non-governmental organisation with over 20 years of experience in integrated rural development in the communal areas of South Africa. EDA works with rural communities and organisations in the Herschel and Maluti sub-regions of the Eastern Cape, in the southern and central districts of the Northern Province and in the Bronkhorstspruit district in Mpumalanga/Gauteng. EDA is affiliated to a number of rural networks of NGOs and CBOs, and will work to widen the discussions on traditional leaders and institutions into these networks, and to encourage broad participation in the popular formulation of policy at all levels.
