AIRCO, the Association of Independent Record Companies, is a non-profit, Section 21, South African national music industry association; pro-actively serving and representing the interests and development of South African independent record labels across South Africa and the world. AIRCO’s membership comprises independent record companies, across the full spectrum of music genres, from across South Africand ranging from small sole traders to some of the biggest independent operators in the country. AIRCO’s vision is to grow the Independent’s market share, improve visibility of independent music and artists, and promote key issues such as market access and cultural diversity in all national, regional and international policies.

Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI)

Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI) is an independent, transdisciplinary scientific research institute based across two campuses in the province of KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) in South Africa.

AHRI’s research combines population, basic and translational, social, and clinical sciences to understand and intervene in the health and well-being of South African communities.

AHRI works in partnership with local communities and South African academic, governmental, and other policy stakeholders and collaborates with over 60 institutions globally. AHRI prioritises the training of the next generation of African scientists.

African Climate and Development Initiative (ACDI)

The African Climate and Development Initiative (ACDI) was established in 2011 by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Cape Town as a strategic initiative, to “facilitate and substantially extend climate change research and education at UCT with the specific context of addressing the development challenges of Africa from an African perspective”.

We aspire to take UCT’s work in climate change and development to new heights and into new spheres of influence to achieve enhanced impact and ensure climate compatible and resilient development pathways into the future.

Association of B-BBEE Professionals (ABP)

The Association of B-BBEE Professionals (ABP) is established to lead the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) Verification and BEE Consultancy industry as it takes up a vital role in the transformation of the South African economy. The first and only industry Professional Body of its kind, the ABP aims to facilitate the accreditation of qualifying BEE Verification Agencies as set out in the Codes of Good Practice.

The Economic Empowerment Professional (EEP) designation is a nationally recognised designation awarded to the BEE Professionals practicing in the field either as BEE Verification Professionals, BEE Consulting Professionals and Corporate Transformation Managers and Practitioners affirming their astute knowledge and skills in the understanding and application of the Codes of Good Practice on B-BBEE. The designation is awarded to experienced persons who have also successfully completed the B-BBEE Management Development Program (MDP) which is a post graduate programme offered by UNISA and Wits Business Enterprise

Association of Aviation Design Organisations (AADO)

The Association of Aviation Design Organisation was founded in 2014 and aligned itself as an affiliate of CAASA in mid 2016. Primarily developed to protect the interest of the South African CAR Part 147 Approved Design Organisations and provide a unified representation from Industry to the SACAA relating to the design activities of the member organisations, the association now has a more significant role to play providing technical advice to CAASA and its various sub-committees and embers where aircraft design, modification, testing and certification issues are raised.
