Continue reading →KNCU is a union affiliated to Canoeing South Africa (CSA), the administration body for Canoeing throughout the Country. KNCU is the most active union in the country with over 3800 active paddlers. The union is run by a committee that meets at least once a month. There are various administrators and committee members each responsible for different roles to ensure that canoeing in the province is run smoothly and safely.
Continue reading →Guinjata Sports Fishing Club is one of the six saltwater fishing clubs affiliated to Southern Gauteng Deep Sea Angling Association (SGDSAA) which in turn is affiliated to the South African Deep Sea Angling Association (SADSAA). It is the aim of SADSAA to promote and develop deep sea angling as a national sport in SA. Amongst other goals SADSAA awards Protea colours to members that have achieved the necessary credentials and experience to represent South Africa in International Salt Water competitions.

In 2002, Gauteng and Northern Gauteng merged to form a single Union, known as the Gauteng Canoe Union.
