It is also the endorsed representative body for consulting engineers and associated bodies, merchant bankers – with reference to their involvement in financing capital projects, capital equipment suppliers and suppliers of services to the capital project sector.

Continue reading →The AMD Export Council is a relatively new addition to the South African Defence Landscape. Established in 2015, jointly by the Department of Trade and Industry and AMD, for the express purpose of facilitating exports for the Defence and Related Industries Sector.
The Export Council is mandated by its members and the dti to promote and champion the collective interests of the sector by exploring new markets for the South African Defence Industry, growing the value and volume of sector exports and lastly by transforming and diversifying the export base thereby contributing to the transformational imperatives of South Africa.
Continue reading →As one of South Africa’s 18 export councils, the Built Environment Professions Export Council (BEPEC) assists South African engineering, architects, and quantity surveying firms, as well as contractors to export their services into new markets in Africa and beyond.
As the prime export council in South Africa that focuses on built-environmental professions, we operate in a partnership with the South African Department of Trade and Industry (dti). As a result, our mandate is in line with their objectives: diversifying South Africa’s export sector by helping built-environment companies identify and access new markets. Additionally, we are also working towards transforming South Africans exports by helping smaller and black-owned businesses become export ready.
