The NBCCI draws its authority from various labour legislations of South Africa viz. Labour Relations Act of 1995, Basic Conditions of Employment Act and its Constitution. The primary aim of the NBCCI is to enhance labour peace within Chemical Industry. This is achieved through processes of dispute prevention and dispute resolution.
