Leprosy Mission Southern Africa (LMSA)
TLM South Africa focuses on teaching health personnel about leprosy symptoms especially in KwaZulu Natal and Eastaern Cape Provinces since cases are often diagnosed very late. They also provide assistance for people disabled or otherwise affected by the disease with the generous funds from individuals and churches. Because there are very few cases in the region, TLM South Africa has turned its attention to disability and the challenges that leprosy-affected and disabled people have in finding fellowship in their local church. TLM’s country leader in South Africa is Peter Laubscher.
