Standard Transfer Specification Association (STSA)

The Standard Transfer Specification (STS) describes a secure message system for carrying information between a point-of-sale and a meter, and is currently finding wide application in electricity metering and payment systems. STS is not limited to this application (see the section: Future enhancements), but because of the wide interest in this area, this document describes the electricity application. STS is an international industry standard described in IEC62055-41, -51 and -52.

At SASSETA, we are the link between employers, training providers and learners. The service delivery environment with respect to SASSETA covers both the public and private sectors. The public security sector consists of government security agencies and law enforcement bodies, whose role is to protect and serve the public and the interests of the state. The private sector comprises of companies and bodies who provide private security and legal services.

South African Institute of Auctioneers (SAIA)

The SA Institute of Auctioneers (SAIA) was founded in 1989 to provide a clear set of industry standards that promote the ethical practice of the auctioneering profession. SAIA is the national association for auctioneers and the stakeholders and clients of the auctioneering industry in South Africa.

SAIA is responsible for building and maintaining good relationships with its stakeholders to the benefit of its members and the public.

SAIA members must meet specific legal requirements, be in strict compliance with the Industry Code, the SAIA Code of conduct and be members of the requisite affiliated associations.

St Dunstan’s Association for South African War-blinded Veterans (SDASWBV)

St Dunstan’s Association for SA War-blinded Veterans has been supporting War Blinded Veterans since 1915, through physical and emotional support, helping to empower beneficiaries to live independent and fulfilling lives. In 1918, after World War I, an after Care Committee was established in South Africa to care for blinded servicemen returning home.
