The National Union of Food, Beverage, Wine, Spirit and Allied Workers (NUFBWSAW) is a trade union representing workers in the food and drink processing industry in South Africa.

The union was established in 1993, when the Food and Beverage Workers’ Union merged with the National Union of Wine, Spirits and Allied Workers. Like both its predecessors, it affiliated to the National Council of Trade Unions.[1] By 1995, it claimed 20,000 members. In 1990 Billy Paulson established a Community Development Organization called “Youth Development Outreach” (YDO). With a mission to train, teach and develop young people and taking a firm stand against the evils of society influencing the youth. This would be accomplished through unconditional acceptance.
Over the years, the organisation has grown and developed to offer a comprehensive range of prevention and intervention services, as well as developmental programmes aimed at shaping the future of South Africa by developing new skills, knowledge and values among children, youth, and their families, to help them achieve their fullest potential in life.
