Green Building Council South Africa (GBCSA)

The Green Building Council SA is a level 2 BEE rated, independent, non-profit company that was formed in 2007 to lead the greening of South Africa’s commercial property sector. We provide the tools, training, knowledge and networks to promote green building practices across the country and build a national movement that will change the way the world is built.

We are one of over 95 members of the World Green Building Council alongside Australithe United States and the United Kingdom. Green Building Council SA has developed the Green Star SA rating system and is the official certification body for Green Star SA projects. We are a dedicated team of industry experts working in collaboration with industry bodies, leaders, government departments and professionals to develop market-based green solutions for the South African property industry.

Its mission as the independent statutory quality council for South African higher education, is to: lead and manage quality assurance; research and monitor trends and development; initiate critical discourse on contemporary higher education issues; and provide advice to the Minister on strategy and policy.

Batseta Council of Retirement Funds for South Africa (BATSETA)

BATSETA is is a non-statutory, SAQA-recognised professional body.
They have three professional designations:

  2. Associate Principal Executive Officer (APEO);
  3. Licentiate Trustee (LT)

Public Health and Social Development Sectoral Bargaining Council (PHSDSBC)

The PHSDSBC is a bargaining council, which was established in 1999, and services employees within the public health and social development sectors. Our mission is to promote labour peace in the public health and social development sectors of South Africa by engaging in constructive collective bargaining regarding issues of mutual interests to all the parties to the Council; and
Facilitating dispute prevention measures to pre-empt the occurrence of disputes within the sector and the resolution of all sector-wide labour disputes speedily and to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
This bargaining council is a registered government bargaining council.
