The Association for Southern African Professional Archaeologists (ASAPA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation that exists for the purpose of establishing, maintaining and promoting archaeology in southern Africa (all SADC states). ASAPA is committed to the development of archaeological research, management (the term management includes all related concepts such as conservation, curation, archaeotourism and restoration), outreach and the exchange of archaeological expertise and information in, and beyond, southern Africa.
ASAPA is is a non-statutory, SAQA-recognised professional body.

Association of Aviation Training Organisations of South Africa (AATOSA)

AATOSA, as an affiliate of CAASA, is where all reputable aviation training organisations have the opportunity to collectively discuss and partake in the direction where commercial and general aviation is heading in South Africa. Through CAASA we have a role to play in the rules, regulations and practices that governs and promotes aviation. AATOSA creates an opportunity to be involved, share opinions and contribute to the growth of the aviation sector and skills development. Every aviation training organization should be part of this association and every customer, student and instructor of such an ATO should insist on it!

Microlight & Sport Aeroplane Association of South Africa (MISASA)

MISASA is the National Flying Organisation that represents ALL pilots that fly Weight Shift Controlled Microlights (WCM),
Conventionally Controlled Microlights (CCM) and Light Sport Aeroplanes (LSA). Further to this, we have expanded our
representation to include production-built NTCA aircraft up to an MTOW of 1663kg as per our latest approved MOP.
This allows MISASA to represent Gyrocopter pilots too.

Association of Aviation Design Organisations (AADO)

The Association of Aviation Design Organisation was founded in 2014 and aligned itself as an affiliate of CAASA in mid 2016. Primarily developed to protect the interest of the South African CAR Part 147 Approved Design Organisations and provide a unified representation from Industry to the SACAA relating to the design activities of the member organisations, the association now has a more significant role to play providing technical advice to CAASA and its various sub-committees and embers where aircraft design, modification, testing and certification issues are raised.
