Alexandra Taxi Association aims to PROTECT, SECURE and PROMOTE members of the association and commuters alike.
The association also aims to transition the taxi industry from the informal sector into a formal, regulated and sustainable business sector.
Alexandra Taxi Association represents the industry’s interests and acts as an enabling organisation:
Ensuring that the taxi industry is equipped to participate effectively in Gauteng’s economy and deliver SAFE, ACCESSIBLE and AFFORDABLE public transport to its customers.
Securing employment of skilled people from the industry within the association, and facilitating skills development and training opportunities where required.
Our vision is to ensure full and effective participation of the taxi industry in the Gauteng transport system that serves the needs of the people of Alexandra.
AUSA represents the majority of aviation workers in South Africa with advice, representation and assistance in the work place, and in legal matters. The Aviation Union of Southern Africa is a registered trade Union in terms of the Labour Relations Act (Act 66 of 1996).
