Al-Anon Family Groups (AL-ANON)
Al-Anon members are people, just like you,
who are worried about someone with a drinking problem.
Al-Anon offers understanding help; support to families and friends of problem drinkers. Our program is adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous and is based upon the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts of Service.
Come to a meeting.The only requirement is that you have a relative or friend with a drinking problem. Your anonymity is protected. There are no fees for membership – we are self-supporting through voluntary contributions.

ARO is not a pet shelter, but is a welfare veterinary hospital service concentrating on a number of important areas of work including sterilisation and primary health care.

Alcohol and Drug Concerns is a non-profit, non-political, RESOURCE CENTRE providing information to all religions, community organizations, primary health clinics, corporates, schools and groups of 10 concerned people or more, who wish to learn how to cope with and combat the rising problem of substance abuse in South Africa. ADC will provide the means in the form of media and live presentations to benefit the community. There is no discrimination against religious beliefs or preferences. Information supplied is based on moral and ethical codes of conduct. ADC has various programmes available to the public to offer solutions to addiction problems.
