ARO is not a pet shelter, but is a welfare veterinary hospital service concentrating on a number of important areas of work including sterilisation and primary health care.

who are worried about someone with a drinking problem.
Al-Anon offers understanding help; support to families and friends of problem drinkers. Our program is adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous and is based upon the Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts of Service.
Come to a meeting.The only requirement is that you have a relative or friend with a drinking problem. Your anonymity is protected. There are no fees for membership – we are self-supporting through voluntary contributions.
ALPA-SA is the only organisation that caters solely for the needs of flight deck crew. It has no vested commercial interest in aviation, and is a non-profit organisation, funded solely from membership subscriptions.

The association comprises mostly small newspapers, but it also represents newsletters, magazines and online publications, all of which are owned by local communities.
Established in 2004, AIP represents the largest group of South Africa’s small independent publications. It is a projects-driven association, but also focuses on research, policy issues and the setting of industry standards for the grassroots print media sector.

Continue reading →The Association of Mine Financial and Administrative Managers (AMFAM) consists of 350 members at gold, platinum and other metalliferous mining operations. It was established in 1920 as the Association of Mine Secretaries.
The main objectives of the association have always been to originate and promote the general advancement of financial discipline in the mining industry, and to protect the interests of its members.
The Association’s objectives are achieved in diverse ways, including conferences and seminars, where information is shared by relevant presentations. Every year, each district produces written projects that are reproduced in books, distributed in the industry as well as to universities and libraries around the world. These books are a permanent record of the association’s achievements and progress.
