AIRCO, the Association of Independent Record Companies, is a non-profit, Section 21, South African national music industry association; pro-actively serving and representing the interests and development of South African independent record labels across South Africa and the world. AIRCO’s membership comprises independent record companies, across the full spectrum of music genres, from across South Africand ranging from small sole traders to some of the biggest independent operators in the country. AIRCO’s vision is to grow the Independent’s market share, improve visibility of independent music and artists, and promote key issues such as market access and cultural diversity in all national, regional and international policies.

African Institute of the Interior Design Professions (IID)

The African Institute of the Interior Design Professions (IID) is the only professional body representing the Design Industry in Africa. The IID is dedicated to establishing, promoting and maintaining expertise, professionalism, sound business practice and high standards throughout the industry.
The IID is is a non-statutory, SAQA-recognised professional body.
They have four professional designations:

  1. Professional Interior Decorator;
  2. Professional Interior Designer;
  3. Professional Senior Interior Designer;
  4. Professional Interior Architect

Africa Leadership Initiative South Africa (ALISA)

Since our inception, ALI has served as a Pan-African initiative with a strong view that Africa’s future lies in the investment and development of effective, values-based and enlightened African leaders.

As the Africa Leadership Initiative, it is our clear-cut objective to develop the next generation of values-based African leaders. These leaders will not only impart knowledge and share opinions, but also guide and lead their countries with integrity.

Our mission has not been an easy one, but through our programme, we have been able to empower a number of leaders who are now shaping the continent in a positive light.

ALI forms part of the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN). This network was established worldwide in collaboration with the Aspen Institute, and consists of other leadership initiatives similar to ALI.

The Africa Leadership Initiative also spans across Africa. It is represented in three regions: ALI West Africa, ALI East Africa and ALI South Africa.

Aids Foundation of South Africa (AFSA)

AFSA recognises that the HIV epidemic is rooted in social and relational phenomena conditioned by environmental, cultural, political and socio-economic drivers. Given the complex reality that HIV affects communities and subgroups differently, AFSA uses strategies that address the social and structural drivers of HIV/AIDS and integrates interventions into a broader sexual and reproductive health framework. AFSA focuses on geographies and populations with elevated risk, thereby effectively and efficiently maximizing prevention impact.
