As one of South Africa’s 18 export councils, the Built Environment Professions Export Council (BEPEC) assists South African engineering, architects, and quantity surveying firms, as well as contractors to export their services into new markets in Africa and beyond. As the prime export council in South Africa that focuses on built-environmental professions, we operate in a partnership with the South African Department of Trade and Industry (dti). As a result, our mandate is in line with their objectives: diversifying South Africa’s export sector by helping built-environment companies identify and access new markets. Additionally, we are also working towards transforming South Africans exports by helping smaller and black-owned businesses become export ready.
