The Centre for the Advancement of Science and Mathematics Education (CASME) is the operating name of a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) registered as a Section 18(a) Educational Trust. CASME’s vision is “To be a world class centre for changing learners lives through Quality and Innovative Mathematics and Science Education.” CASME’s mission statement is: “To provide quality teacher professional development opportunities for mathematics and science education in under-resourced and rural schools in South Africa to improve learning outcomes.”
