The Actuarial Society of South Africa is the governing body for the actuarial profession in South Africa
This is a non-statutory, SAQA-recognised professional body.
They have three designations:

1. Associate Member (AMASSA);
2. Fellow(FASSA);
3. Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA)
